AMMAN — Masar Al Khair initiative has distributed 30 bicycles to residents of Al Mazraah Valley in Karak Governorate to facilitate their movement in the district and to the surrounding areas, according to a statement from the organisers.
Held in cooperation with Darajati Society and Grand Hyatt Amman, the campaign also offered maintenance services for the residents’ bicycles.
The founder of the initiative, Mohammad Karakeh, said that the initiative seeks to help residents of remote areas to find an alternative means of transportation in their daily commutes, especially in light of the absence of a transportation system in the district and the long distance between these areas and the governorate’s central city.
Participant Ashjan Naori also distributed several first aid kits to the bicycles riders. Karaleh thanked the campaign’s supporters and participants for their efforts in achieving development in the underprivileged communities.
