Interior minister meets top US drug official, UNHCR representative

AMMAN — Interior Minister Mazen Qadi on Thursday met with the US Assistant Secretary of State of the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs William R. Brownfield and reviewed cooperation aspects between Jordan and the US in the fields of security, crime and drugs through exchanging visits and information, the Jordan News Agency Petra added.
Also on Thursday, Qadi met with UNHCR Representative to Jordan Andrew Harper and stressed that the Kingdom deals with Syrian refugees in a comprehensive way and coordinated efforts with all stakeholders.
Qadi and Harper also discussed the latest developments related to the Syrian refugee influx and ways to alleviate its repercussions on vital service and security fields, Petra reported.
