Jaber, Afghan envoy discuss sharing Jordanian expertise on COVID-19

AMMAN — Health Minister Saad Jaber and Afghan Ambassador to Jordan Tariq Shah Bahrami on Tuesday discussed means of enhancing bilateral cooperation in the health field amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The envoy commended Jordan’s implementation of preventive and treatment measures at the “highest levels”, calling for an exchange of Jordan’s medical expertise with Afghan medical and nursing cadres through video communication, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
For his part, Jaber welcomed cooperation in this field with Afghanistan within the Kingdom’s available capacities and through diplomatic channels.
