AMMAN — HRH Princess Basma Bint Ali, chairperson of the board of trustees of the Hashemite Fund for the Development of the Jordan Badia, on Friday attended the launch of the Jameed and Ghee Festival, organised by the fund at Al Hussein Park, with the participation of associations from the Jordanian Badia region, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Several female groups from southern, central and northern Badia regions took part in the two-day event, showcasing dairy and other traditional bedouin food products. Jameed is made from 'fat-free and rock-hard' balls of salted yoghurt used as the main ingredient of mansaf, Jordan’s national dish.
