JD20m deal signed to build new schools

AMMAN — Education Minister Mohammad Thneibat and Cities and Villages Development Bank Director General Haitham Nahleh signed on Monday a JD20 million financing agreement to build new schools.
Thneibat said the investment will entail building schools within municipalities’ most crowded areas.
He said the ministry is expected to spend around JD100 million this year to build and maintain schools in Jordan according to the needs of each area.
