Jordan condemns Sinai terror attack

AMMAN — Jordan on Saturday condemned the terrorist attack that targeted Egyptian Copts and killed seven in Sinai on Friday.
Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani said that such heinous acts perpetrated by terrorist groups target the stability and security of the region, reiterating Jordan’s call for fighting terrorism within a holistic approach, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Momani, who is also the minister of state for media affairs, also expressed the Kingdom’s solidarity with Egypt in facing terrorism, extending Jordan’s condolences to the government and the families of the victims.
