Jordan, UK discuss labour cooperation

AMMAN — Labour Minister Nidal Katamine on Monday met with British Ambassador to Jordan Edward Oakden to discuss labour cooperation, and dealing with migration and asylum.
Katamine briefed Oakden on the general condition of the job market, highlighting the Labour Ministry’s efforts in the field of training and employment.
Moreover, Katamine highlighted the effects of the influx of Syrian refugees on the labour sector. Oakden voiced readiness to cooperate on issues of mutual interest.
