AMMAN — The We are All Jordan Youth Commission (AJYC) on Sunday launched voluntary campaigns to celebrate His Majesty King Abdullah’s birthday, which falls on Tuesday, according to an AJYC statement.
The commission director Abdulrahman Zwahreh said that the campaign involves a variety of activities held in different governorates, and the first phase had already been completed.
The coming days’ activities, with the participation of youth, will include blood donations, tree planting, winter donations, cleaning streets, distributing clothes to needy families in addition to contributing in organising official celebrations.
Such events reflect the “youth’s devotion to their country and their willingness to be part of its prosperity and progress”, Zwahreh was quoted in the statement as saying.
