Jordanian held by Houthis returns to Kingdom

AMMAN — A Jordanian citizen, who had been detained by Houthis in Yemen since February 12, arrived in the Kingdom from Yemen on Saturday, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Sufian Qudah said.
The ministry official said that cooperation and coordination between the ministry and other departments led to the citizen’s release and safe return to the Kingdom, according to a ministry statement.
Qudah added that an emergency travel document had been issued for the citizen to allow him to return, noting that he is in good health.
