Jordanians take to streets in solidarity with Palestinians

AMMAN — Thousands of Jordanians on Friday took to the streets across the country in solidarity with Palestinians, urging an immediate halt to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
In Amman, a protest called by public groups started from the Grand Husseini Mosque in downtown Amman. Waving Jordanian and Palestinian flags, protesters called for halting the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and protecting civilians, Al Mamlaka TV reported.
Other demonstrations took place in different governorates, including Zarqa, Irbid and Maan.
