Labour minister, Bangladesh ambassador talk cooperation

AMMAN — Labour Minister Maen Qatamin and Bangladeshi Ambassador to Jordan Naheda Sobhan on Monday discussed means of enhancing cooperation in labour fields.
Qatamin expressed the ministry’s keenness on continuing oversight of institutions’ work in all sectors, to ensure a safe work environment for Jordanian and foreign workers alike.
The envoy expressed her country’s keenness to further Jordanian-Bangladeshi cooperation, mainly in the labour field, voicing appreciation for the ministry’s efforts towards safeguarding labourers’ rights, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
