Lawmakers meet expats in Kuwait

AMMAN — A Lower House delegation on Friday met with members of the Jordanian community in Kuwait and listened to their inquiries that mainly focused on their role in promoting tourism in the Kingdom and the possibility for expatriates to vote in the next parliamentary elections.
The delegation, chaired by MP Yihya Saud, promised to refer these demands to the government, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Saud, who is also head of the Lower House Palestine Committee, said the main goal of the visit was to discuss the latest developments on the Palestinian issue.
