Private universities to offer scholarships to children of Palestinian prisoners

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh on Wednesday met with Palestinian Minister of Prisoners Affairs Issa Qaraqe And discussed ways to enhance parliamentary cooperation.
Also on Wednesday MP Yihya Saud, head of the House’s Palestine Committee, told reporters he met with Qaraqe and presidents of local private universities earlier in the day, noting that the universities will offer 13 scholarships to children of Palestinian prisoners in Israel.
