Lower House welcomes Yemeni consultations in Riyadh

AMMAN — The Lower House’s Brotherhood Committee between Jordan and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and Yemen on Thursday welcomed holding the Yemeni consultations in Riyadh under the auspices of the GCC.
Head of the committee MP Mohammed Fayez commended the announcement of the legitimacy support coalition in Yemen to halt its military operations inside Yemen to support efforts aimed at reaching a political solution to the Yemeni crisis, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He also referred to the Kingdom’s constructive efforts based on Jordan’s belief in joint Arab action towards issues of mutual concern, praising Saudi Arabia’s efforts and initiatives to end the Yemeni crisis in a way that realises peace and security.
