Maaytah discusses political, economic issues with partisan figures

AMMAN — Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs and Minister of State Musa Maaytah on Thursday met with representatives of pan-Arab and leftist parties and discussed various current political and economic issues, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Maaytah stressed the importance of such meetings to discuss and exchange views on various national, political and partisan affairs, pointing out that Jordan is going through difficult regional conditions at political, security and economic levels.
The general secretaries of the parties said current challenges require joint efforts by political and national forces to strengthen the domestic front. They demanded the release of those arrested during protests two weeks ago.
