Majali discusses security cooperation with US ambassador

AMMAN — Interior Minister Hussein Majali on Thursday met with US Ambassador to Jordan Alice G. Wells and discussed security, political and economic cooperation between Amman and Washington as well as the latest regional developments.
During the meeting, Majali stressed the importance of intensifying international efforts to eliminate terrorism through coordination and cooperation.
He reiterated Jordan’s preparedness to deal with any threats or security developments that may arise.
For her part, Wells highlighted Jordan’s regional role and commended its humanitarian assistance to the non-stop waves of refugees despite its limited resources.
