Makruma: National Aid Fund family beneficiaries to receive JD100

AMMAN — Following the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah, the Cabinet on Sunday decided to disburse JD100 for families benefiting from the monthly aid programme of the National Aid Fund (NAF).
The Council of Ministers, during a session chaired by Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh, called on the ministries of finance and social development to disburse the amount immediately and proceed with necessary financial transactions to cover the amount within the general budget, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. A total of 107,000 families are expected to benefit from this makruma (Royal benefaction) with a total of JD11 million.
Minister of Social Development Ayman Mufleh, who is also chairman of the NAF, said that the ministry will disburse the money for the beneficiaries immediately once transferred by the Ministry of Finance. The total amount of the makruma is estimated at JD11 million, he noted.
