Mulki meets International Finance Corporation CEO

AMMAN — Prime Minister Hani Mulki on Sunday met with International Finance Corporation’s (IFC) CEO Philippe Le Houérou, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the meeting, attended by Planning Minister Imad Fakhoury and Minister of State for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani, Mulki and Houérou discussed cooperation between Jordan and the IFC, which is one of the World Bank corporations.
Mulki outlined economic reforms in the Kingdom in order to face challenges, enhance economic independence and boost public-private sectors partnership. He noted that the government has encouraged the private sector’s role in development projects through financial leasing, which is intended to reduce public spending.
