AMMAN — The National Charter Party held a sit-in at Al Tawal Al Janoubi Club in Deir Alla on Tuesday to reaffirm its unwavering support for the resilience of the people of Gaza. The gathering, which was attended by party members and supporters from the district, marks a continuation of numerous protests, marches and initiatives launched by the party since the "ruthless" aggression on Gaza on October 7, according to a party statement. Participants in the solidarity event expressed their support for the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah emphasising the urgent need to halt the ongoing war on Gaza and ensure the consistent delivery of humanitarian aid. The participants commended the Jordanian government's decision to recall the Jordanian ambassador from Tel Aviv and to inform Israel not to recall its ambassador to Jordan, highlighting Jordan as the first Arab and Islamic country to take such a "courageous" stand in support of the war-torn Strip.
