Nine of same family injured in Jerash house fire

AMMAN — Nine family members on Thursday were injured in a house fire in Jerash, a statement from the Civil Defence Department (CDD) said. The fire was caused by an electrical fault, according to the statement.
Three of them suffered second-degree burns and the rest suffered shortness of breath.
CDD personnel took them to Jerash Public Hospital where they were reported to be in fair condition.
