PM receives Turkey's former president, Iraqi parliament speaker

AMMAN — Prime Minister Hani Mulki on Thursday met with former Turkish president Abullah Gül, who is currently visiting the Kingdom to participate in the 10th Amman Security Colloquium, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Mulki commended Gül's efforts in improving Jordanian-Turkish relations while in office, which resulted in a free trade agreement.
Also on Thursday, Mulki met with Iraqi Parliament Speaker Salim Jabouri to discuss bilateral relations, the latest developments in Iraq and efforts to fight terrorism. Mulki stressed the importance of the oil pipeline project from Basra to Aqaba.
