Prince Mired spearheads project to install solar energy systems for disabled military personnel

AMMAN — HH Prince Mired, the chief chamberlain and president of the Hashemite Commission for Disabled Soldiers (HCDS), on Tuesday met with a delegation from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources over intensify joint efforts to complete the project of installing solar energy systems for disabled military personnel this year. Prince Mired was briefed on the progress of the project, which includes the installation of solar cell systems for the homes of registered disabled military personnel under the commission's auspices in various governorates, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. He stressed the importance of this project for disabled military personnel, in appreciation for their efforts and sacrifices in serving the nation and improving their living and financial conditions. Hisham Momani, director of electricity directorate at the ministry, said that the project aims to install solar energy systems for 1,611 houses of disabled military personnel.
