Project approved to prevent floods in Northern Ghor

AMMAN — Jordan Valley Authority (JVA) Secretary General Saad Abu Hammour said on Monday that the Cabinet recently approved the JVA’s request to implement a JD400,000 project to prevent floods in the Northern Ghor area, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Abu Hammour told Petra that the JVA cadres and equipment are ready to face any weather emergencies and help residents of the Jordan Valley.
