Cabinet approves allocation of housing units in Jordan Valley

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Wednesday approved the Jordan Valley Authority’s (JVA) decisions regarding residential and agricultural units, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The JVA’s board of directors had previously decided to allocate 256 residential and 10 agricultural housing units to the Jordan Valley’s residents from July 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018.
The decision to allocate the housing units is part of the government’s efforts to support citizens with limited and low incomes, and in accordance with the JVA’s applicable laws and regulations, according to Petra.
