Real estate trade volume increased 17% in first half of 2022 — DLS

AMMAN — Jordan's real estate trade volume went up by 17 per cent in the first half of 2022, reaching JD2.636 billion, when compared with the same period of 2021, the Department of Lands and Survey (DLS) said on Thursday.
The DLS monthly report revealed that the state's revenues during the January-June period of this year stood at JD119.1 million, up by 29 per cent from the figures reported in the corresponding period of last year, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
On a monthly level, the trade volume in the Kingdom’s real estate market went down in June of 2022 by 7 per cent, amounting to JD559 million compared with the same month of 2021. Meanwhile, June 2022 revenues increased by 6 per cent to JD26 million when compared with the same month of 2021.
