SDC reports JD20b in registered securities as of end of June

AMMAN — A total of 7.6 billion securities valued at approximately JD20 billion were registered with the Securities Depository Centre of Jordan (SDC) as of the end of June. According to the SDC data, Jordanians owned around 5 billion securities worth JD10.7 billion, while the top 10 non-Jordanian nationalities owned around 1.7 billion securities at a total value of around JD7.3 billion, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Saudi Arabia ranked first in the list of non-Jordanian nationalities according to total value, holding over 435.7 million securities valued at JD1.089 billion.
