Senate's Legal Committee endorses four draft laws

AMMAN — The Senate's Legal Committee on Sunday endorsed four draft laws as referred from the Lower House. During a panel meeting, headed by Senator Kamal Nasser, the committee endorsed the amended version of the Grand Criminal Court Law, a draft law governing mediation for the settlement of civil disputes, the amended Law of the Evidence, and a magistrates courts bill, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Nasser said that developing the judiciary is the first step towards political, social, economic and administrative reforms.
