Shweikeh discusses cooperation with private sector

AMMAN — ICT Minister Majd Shweikeh on Saturday met with members of the ICT Association of Jordan (int@j) and discussed ways to activate a partnership council with the private sector and speed up the implementation of e-government programmes.
Shweikeh highlighted the importance of the private sector as a partner in the ICT sector.
int@j members shared their notes on the ministry’s projects and e-government services, in addition to their opinions on the Telecom Law.
The two sides agreed to form a joint taskforce to speed up the implementation of e-government programmes.
