AMMAN — A stray dog in Irbid’s Tubneh area on Tuesday attacked nine people including a child, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. As eight persons were trying to protect the child, the dog bit all of them.
Princess Raya Hospital’s Director Taha Tamimi said the number of similar attacks is increasing on a daily basis.
The region’s municipal councils have convened last week and decided to task snipers to combat stray dogs in Bani Kenaneh district, including Tubneh.
