Talhouni meets with Canada envoy

AMMAN — Minister of Justice Bassam Talhouni on Wednesday received Canadian Ambassador to Jordan Donica Pottie. The two sides discussed aspects of joint cooperation in the legal and judicial fields and ways to activate them to serve the interests of the two countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Talhouni stressed the depth of relations between the two countries and the role of the Ministry of Justice in supporting the judicial sector and providing necessary services, the most prominent of which are electronic services that aim to accelerate the duration of litigation and enhance community confidence.
The Canadian ambassador praised Jordan's role in the field of legislative reforms and its efforts in hosting refugees, expressing her desire to continue communication and promote dialogue between the two countries.
