Justice minister, Canada ambassador discuss cooperation in legal fields

AMMAN — Justice Minister Ahmad Ziyadat and Canadian Ambassador Donica Pottie on Tuesday discussed prospects of joint cooperation in the legal field and means to activate it to serve the best interests of the two countries.
Ziyadat highlighted the “deep-rooted” bilateral ties and the ministry's role in supporting the justice system and the judiciary, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He pointed out that the ministry recently made major achievements, particularly in the field of e-services to save time and effort, speed up litigation procedures and boost the community's trust. Ziyadat and Pottie also went over means to sign an agreement on judicial assistance.
