Tourism minister, Turkish official discuss antiquities cooperation

AMMAN — Tourism Minister Makram Qaisi on Sunday night met with President of the Turkish Directorate of State Archives Ugur Unal over cooperation in maintaining and restoring archive items, exchanging expertise and boosting cooperation in developing services at tourist and archaeological sites.
The two sides also discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in tourism, antiquities and heritage, the maintenance and restoration of Jordan's 25 Hijazi train stations and the maintenance, restoration and development of tourism at the Kingdom's 15 Ottoman fortresses.
