AMMAN — Temperatures on Friday are forecast to significantly increase, bringing warm weather in mountainous areas and relatively hot weather to the rest of the Kingdom, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
On Saturday, the JMD forecast unstable weather conditions as temperatures are expected to drop 7-6 degrees below the annual average, bringing relatively cold weather around the Kingdom and warm weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea area and Aqaba.
Rainfall is forecast during the day, especially in the north and centre of the Kingdom, accompanied by thunder and lightning with westerly brisk winds with powerful gusts raising dust prior to rainfall, according to the weather department.
The JMD warned of slippery roads and low visibility due to dust, especially in Badia areas over the weekend.
