AMMAN — Aqaba’s Ayla recently signed an agreement with Akkawi Group to expand its seaside Marina Village food and beverage offerings, a joint statement sent to The Jordan Times read.
Under the agreement, Akkawi Group will open three international food and beverage outlets in the development project’s Marina Village retail space, offering residents and visitors more choices that fit within Ayla’s brand identity, the statement said.
The agreement aims to fulfil Ayla’s pledge to have a fully fleshed out retail space by early 2019, which the company said it considers a core component of its development project.
Ayla is currently in the process of formulating other agreements with vendors and investors, with a number of those slated for announcement in the coming months, according to the statement.
The agreement was signed by Ayla’s Managing Director Sahl Dudin and Akkawi Group’s CEO Ziad Akkawi.
“This agreement also falls in line with our long-term vision for Ayla as a mixed-use residential community that houses all the amenities, services and conveniences of a luxury lifestyle,” Ayla’s Managing Director Sahl Dudin said in the statement.
