‘PSD keen on cooperating with Arab law enforcement agencies’

AMMAN — The Public Security Department (PSD) and the Arab Interior Ministers Council on Tuesday discussed means to enhance cooperation and coordination among police forces in Arab countries.

During a meeting with the secretary general of the council, Muhammad Koman, PSD Director Maj. Gen. Fadel Hmoud said that the department continues to update its law enforcement mechanisms to keep pace with the latest developments in techniques and devices that contribute to combating crime.

Hmoud expressed the PSD’s readiness to share expertise with its Arab peers, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Koman commended the “advanced level” the PSD has realised and expressed appreciation for the PSD’s keenness to find new scopes of cooperation with Arab police departments.
