AMMAN — The Independent Election Commission (IEC), in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Civil Status and Passports Department, has recently launched a service to change constituency for eligible people through the "Sanad" application. This e-service allows Christian, Circassian and Chechen voters to change their constituency via "Sanad" to another electoral district, where a parliamentary seat is designated for those groups under the current Election Law, according to an IEC statement cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, on Wednesday. As per the Election Law, Circassians, Chechens and Christians can shift to another constituency in their governorate to vote in parliamentary elections, if their original constituency does not designate seats for those groups.
