12-year-old Syrian drowns in Zarqa River

AMMAN — Zarqa Civil Defence Department (CDD) divers on Sunday retrieved the body of a 12-year-old Syrian child who had drowned in the Zarqa River.
CDD divers had to stop water flow at two points in the river in order to retrieve the body.
The search operation lasted for three hours, according to the CDD.
