15th Arab Conference on Human Resources kicks off at ACI

AMMAN — The 15th Arab Conference on Human Resources kicked off on Saturday at the Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI).

The event was organised by the Euro Jordanian Advanced Business Institute (EJABI), the Council of Arab Economic Unity and the Arab Planning Institute and Arab Trainers Union, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Deputising for Labour Minister Nayef Esteitieh, Development and Employment Fund (DEF) Director General Mansour Wreikat inaugurated the event.

Wreikat said that Jordan is keen on improving cooperation with civil society institutions and regional and international organisations in a bid to improving the capabilities of human resources and the efficiency of public and private institutions.

Tamim Qasrawi, the ACI secretary, said that the specialised, trained human resources are “one of the pillars of the innovation economy and knowledge”.
