21 companies to benefit from energy efficiency programme

AMMAN — Twenty-one Jordanian factories on Tuesday signed an agreement for the renewable energy and energy efficiency programme, according to a statement released by the Jordan Chamber of Industry on Tuesday.
The factories will benefit from the international programme carried out by the Jordan Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fund (JREEEF), which aims at raising energy efficiency and reducing operational costs. Energy Minister Ibrahim Saif, Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply Secretary General Yousef Shamali and JREEEF Director Rasmi Hamzeh attended the signing ceremony.
