25 ambulances delivered to hospitals, healthcare centres

AMMAN — The Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development has funded the procurement of 25 ambulances worth JD1.25 million for hospitals and healthcare centres.
The new vehicles raise the number of ambulances operating under the Health Ministry to over 200, according to its spokesperson, Hatem Azrui.
He noted that 13 of the new ambulances are equipped with respiratory devices that turn them into mobile intensive care units.
