36 Jordanians feature among 100 most influential authors in Arab world

AMMAN — Thirty-six Jordanians were featured on the list of 100 most influential authors and researchers in the Arab world, according to a report issued by the Arab Citation & Impact Factor (Arcif) 2020, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The "Arcif" report, an initiative of the Knowledge Database for Production and Scientific Content (e-Marefa Database), said that it examined the publications of 175,000 researchers, among which 1,845 were Jordanian. According to the report, Jordan ranked first among Arab countries in economics, finance and business, as well as educational sciences.
The founder of the initiative Sami Al Khazendar said that the 2020 Arcif report was more comprehensive, shedding light on new fields of study, Petra reported.
