AMMAN — Forty-two trainees on Monday concluded three training courses on business entrepreneurship development implemented within the German Development Cooperation’s (GIZ) TWEED project.

GIZ, in cooperation with the Vocational Training Corporation (VTC) and private sector companies, carried out two courses in Jordan and the third in Germany, according to a VTC statement. Hani Khleifat, VTC assistant director general for institutions of excellence, said graduates received training on how to develop their own projects.

He added that boosting economic and social development can only be achieved via partnership with the private sector, expressing the corporation’s pride in its cooperation with private partners.
