43 people injured, one killed in various incidents

AMMAN — One person was killed and six people were injured on Thursday in a car accident involving two vehicles that collided in the area of Majar, in Jerash, a Civil Defence Department (CDD) source said.
In Irbid, a fire burnt through a building in the Mashari area, injuring four people, as eight others suffered suffocation due to inhaling the gases emitted by the fire.
Meanwhile in the Balawneh district, 25 primary school students suffered suffocation due to inhaling insecticides from a nearby farm.
All injured and deceased were all evacuated to the nearest governmental hospitals, whereas the farmer, whose insecticides allegedly suffocated the children, was apprehended and referred to court, district governor Raed Azab confirmed.
