5 injured in towing truck accident; vehicle collision kills one in Irbid

AMMAN — Three people were injured on Saturday when a towing truck hit them while two others were also injured by the same truck when it overturned and hit a light pole on the Sukhneh road in Zarqa, according to the Civil Defence Department (CDD).

Zarqa CDD personnel administered first aid to the injured before transferring them to the Zarqa Public Hospital, where they were listed in fair condition, according to a CDD statement.

On Friday, one man died and two others were injured in a two-vehicle collision near the King Abdullah I Hospital in Irbid. Eastern Irbid CDD administered first aid to the injured before transferring them and the body to the adjacent hospital.
