AMMAN — A group of MPs on Monday denounced the “systemised” Israeli settler’s storming of Al Aqsa Mosque, calling on the government to respond strictly to such frequent violations.
In a memorandum they signed Monday, the 52 MPs also called on the government to train the mosque’s guards “militarily” so that they can protect it from Jewish extremists’ frequent assaults.
In the memo, a copy of which was sent to The Jordan Times, Deputy Khalil Atiyeh said Israeli settlers have crossed all red lines in their assaults on Jordanians guarding Al Aqsa Mosque.
