AQABA — Seven hundred extra dunums have been allocated to increase the capacity of the Aqaba Container Terminal as part of a decision to refer “important” projects to local contractors for implementation.
The decision was taken by the Aqaba Development Corporation’s board of directors, chaired by Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority Chief Commissioner Hani Mulki. The extra space will facilitate the handling and cold storage of containers and reduce their waiting period.
