Agreement signed to develop investment in tourism sector

AMMAN — The Jordan Free and Development Zones Group (JFDZG) and the Jordan Hotels Association (JHA) on Tuesday signed a cooperation agreement to develop investment in the tourism sector.

JFDZG Chairman Khalaf Hmeisat said that the agreement highlights the joint efforts between the group and the association to attract and empower investors and create new investment opportunities in the tourism and hotel sectors, commending the JHA's efforts to overcome the difficulties facing the sector and investors, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

President of the JHA Abdulhakim Hindi stressed the importance of boosting relations between the association and the JGDZG to achieve the aspirations of investors in the tourism sector, pointing out that the challenges facing the economy require a “real partnership” between the public and private sectors.
