AMMAN — The Jordan Investment Commission (JIC) and the Social Security Investment Fund (SSIF) on Sunday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to explore the Kingdom’s potential investment opportunities.

The memorandum, signed by SSIF CEO Kholoud Saqqaf and Chairman of the JIC Khaled Wazani, aims at identifying investment opportunities and sharing expertise in the field of feasibility study, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Wazani said that this partnership would boost the Kingdom’s investments, highlighting the importance of investing in projects that recruit Jordanians, as well as stimulate growth.

Saqqaf, during the ceremony, highlighted the fund’s role in implementing the outcomes of the London Conference, most recent of which the MoU signed with Meridiam Jordan on investing in infrastructure projects.
