Agreement signed for treatment of Syrian refugee cancer patients

AMMAN — Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Nayef Bin Bandar Al Sudairy on Sunday received King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) Director General Nisreen Qatamish and discussed means to enhance cooperation.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the Saudi Fund for Development and KHCF signed a memorandum of understanding to contribute to treating cancer patients among Syrian refugees, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Sudairy praised the KHCF’s pivotal role in fighting cancer at the local and international levels. Qatamish expressed appreciation of the Saudi government’s support, noting that the financial assistance will be directed to cover treatment costs of underprivileged Syrian refugees in the Kingdom.
