Amman mayor in Cyprus to discuss cultural relations

AMMAN — Amman Mayor Aqel Biltaji on Sunday met with Paphos Mayor Phedon Phedono in Cyprus and discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two cities within the twinning agreement, whose first part was signed in Amman and the second part was signed during this visit.
Biltaji, Jordan’s Ambassador to Greece and Cyprus Fawaz Aitan, Amman Chamber of Commerce President Issa Murad and other delegation members had a first-hand look at projects Paphos is implementing in preparation to host the 2017 European culture capital events, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Biltaji reviewed cultural events Amman will participate in during the 2017 Paphos celebrations.
